Learn MoreOn Monday, September 9th, Adrienne Gosselin was welcomed aboard the NH Council Board of Directors as our Director of Youth Programs. Adrienne, a Nashua, New Hampshire native, served as the first officer of the deck of the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Manchester (LCS 14). The photo below left shows her receiving the traditional long glass at the USS Manchester commissioning ceremony in 2018.
The NH Council is hosting Commander Ralph Lufkin, Commander, USS Manchester (LCS 14) Blue along with other crew members for a visit to their host city, Manchester NH. CDR Lufkin is looking forward to strenghening their ties to the Manchester community as well as with the Manchester West High School Navy Junior ROTC unit. Stay tuned while we work on firming up their visit schedule.
The 249th US Navy Birthday Dinner will be held on Sunday, October 13 starting at 1700 at the Fratello's Amoskeag function room in the Manchester Millyard. Guest speakers include the USS Manchester ship's sponsor, US Senator Shaheen (schedule dependent), City of Manchester Mayor Ray Ruais, and CDR Ralph Lufkin, Commander, USS Manchester (LCS 14) Blue.
Join us for this unique celebration to honor not only the birth of the US Navy, but the CO and crew members from Manchester's host ship, the USS Manchester (LCS 14).
